Buster skrine archipelago.7/31/2023 The proceeds go to a handful of charities, including his own foundation, Path Mentorship, which helps single mothers and children in need. He decided to teach aerobics, in large part, to satisfy his charitable spirit. Instead of working out on his own in preparation for April 17, the start of the Jets' offseason program, Skrine is staying in shape among mostly strangers and helping them do the same. Skrine was leading a high-intensity aerobics class at Kore New York on West 13th Street. New York Jets cornerback Buster Skrine was in the middle of the mayhem, surrounded by 40 or so people in a crowded, pulsating room with flashing lights and loud music. NEW YORK - The trendy Meatpacking district on Manhattan's west side was buzzing last Saturday afternoon at dusk, the cramped streets jammed with locals and tourists flocking to the many bars and restaurants. Jets' Buster Skrine leads aerobics class to raise money and heart rates He said he was attracted to Bowles' penchant for using man coverage over zones, and thought his versatility - he can play cornerback, nickel and dime, and even safety - made him a perfect fit.You have reached a degraded version of because you're using an unsupported version of Internet Explorer.įor a complete experience, please upgrade or use a supported browser Skrine, who spent his first four seasons with Cleveland, was the first of the free agents to sign with the Jets - before Revis and Cromartie. If we get the chance, this is a place we'd like to retire." It also was an easy decision for my family, just from looking at kids in school and not moving around a lot. "Like I said earlier during the offseason, if it presented itself and everything was right, this would be an easy choice for me, and I felt like it was. "It ended up working out for the best," Cromartie said. His wife and family commuted to Arizona from their New Jersey home every Sunday to watch him play. He said he considered re-signing with Arizona, and thought about going to Dallas before deciding to return to the Jets. "I think the biggest thing was to prove to everybody that when I'm healthy, I can play at a very high level," Cromartie said.Ĭromartie, who turns 31 in April, had three interceptions for the Cardinals. He showed his hip was fine last season - "It's behind me" - and was selected for the Pro Bowl. "At the same time, we all have to jell together and learn how to play off each other."Ĭromartie spent last season under Bowles in Arizona after New York chose to not re-sign him, partly because of some questions about his health after he dealt with a nagging hip ailment. "It's just a point where you just start adding into the mix guys who can makes plays on the ball, you just look at the potential of how things can be," Cromartie said. Now, Bowles can envision a secondary that includes Revis and Cromartie, along with Skrine in the slot, pairing with second-year safety Calvin Pryor and Gilchrist, who signed for four years, $22 million. They converted safety Antonio Allen to cornerback and started journeyman Phillip Adams, career backup Darrin Walls and undrafted free agent Marcus Williams during the season. That had Ryan and former defensive coordinator Dennis Thurman trying to plug holes. Veteran Dimitri Patterson was released after being suspended for missing a preseason game without the team's permission. 1 draft pick in 2013, and Dexter McDougle, a third-rounder last year, were lost early to season-ending injuries. That's a far cry from last season, when then-coach Rex Ryan had to wonder nearly every week who he'd have available in his secondary. "I think it's definitely going to be a bright spot for this team," Skrine said. Revis signed a five-year contract worth $70 million, with $39 million fully guaranteed Cromartie got a four-year deal worth $32 million in base salary - with a maximum value of $35 million and Skrine received a four-year, $25 million contract. New York paid for it to be, spending $127 million on the three new cornerbacks.

HandBrake supports Windows, Mac, and Linux. You can trim, compress or convert your videos from nearly any format to a selection of modern, widely supported formats. HandBrake is a free open source video transcoder tool. Is it easy to trim videos in HandBrake? what else I can do with it? And I don’t want to lose the quality of the video. I need to trim a part of the video using HandBrake. Apart from bypassing the DVD copy protection including including Region code, RCE, key2Audio, UOP, CSS, Macrovision, FluxDVD, Protect, ARccOS, AACS, BD+, ROM Mark, BD-Live, etc, the program also assists you to rip or convert DVD to any of popular digital file formats or hot devices preset profile formats. The program has full importing support for DVD disc, Video_TS folder and also DVD IFO/ISO image file. Here, we highly recommend Pavtube ByteCopy to you. Then you will need to find a more powerful DVD Ripper application to complete the work. Best Handbrake alternative to crop DVDįor those people who happen to own some commercial DVD disc, you will find that Handbrake is useless since it lacks the ability to bypass copy protection from DVD disc. I've just dropped a mess of pixels, which could conceivably allow me to fit the movie on my iPod, but I've also lost the left and right edges of the picture. If I crop 10 pixels from either side, for instance, the size of the frame changes to 704x304. If you enable the Custom option in the Crop portion of the window and increase any of the crop settings (top, bottom, right, left), you'll find that the Size figures change. The Width and Height settings should come in at around 720 by 304 with the Keep Aspect Ration option enabled. When you insert a typical widescreen DVD into your Mac, launch HandBrake, and then click the Picture Settings button you'll discover that HandBrake automatically crops the top and bottom portion of the movie by 58 and 62 pixels respectively to cut out the black bars. Sometimes, you can also crop video black bars with Handbrake's crop controls if you're willing to lose some of the video. If the size of the output exceeds the window size, the preview window will scale it to fit to screen. You can preview the effect of your adjustments by clicking the "Preview" button on the toolbar. The preview window will then appear and will display in real-time any changes you make on the picture settings screen. If you find it gets it wrong, which is not that common, you can adjust them by selecting the "Custom" option. It's giving you a best guess at what the crop values should be. However, HandBrake's auto-crop is not perfect. Encoding black bars increases the encode time and the amount of disk space required, so it's best to let HandBrake remove them. HandBrake by default will try and detect and crop black bars from the video.

Mac mini plex7/30/2023 As optical drives disappear from our devices (Macbook Retina, Macbook Air, iPads, Galaxy tablets etc) it's getting harder to watch my existing library of DVDs and blu-ray disks … not that Apple ever supported blu-ray anyway, even though I still think its the best format for purchasing content.Having our collective libraries available centrally, and easily playable on our television allows us to enjoy our TV shows and movies together as a family - rather than in insolation, crouched over our laptops and iPads as we’d previously done. I want to make it easier for my family to share our individual libraries of iTunes videos that we’ve been accumulating. There are several good reasons for setting up a home media server. As such, it’s now comfortably nestled next to my TV, blu-ray player, and network router. Although there are cheaper and more powerful machines, the Mac Mini is small and discrete, with low power consumption, and a solid Unix-like OS that’s pre-configured and immediately usable. Usage as a media server was really just a happy bonus, and a more tangible reason for buying the server that I could explain to my wife. My real intent was getting a small server to run apache along with various VM images to support my development projects. There’s no need for a screen or keyboard with the Mac Mini since as I can connect to it remotely from my Macbook via OS X’s in-built screen sharing … although I admittedly needed to book time with the Genius bar of my local Apple Store so I could use one of their screens/keyboards for the initial setup. In the following posts I will focus on the details and how to setup the software and tools.įor now I’ll give you a few useful resources to get you head started.20 NovemberWith the advent of the new 2014 Mac Mini, I took the plunge configuring one as a lounge-based server (I’d previously toyed with the idea of the brilliantly retro C64x, but my family would never have understood). Hex fiend line delimiter7/30/2023 Wherigo for iOS only recognizes the newline character (I did not test for regular line breaks), but will recognize or if fed through the WF compiler (edited).Garmon Oregon recognizes regular line breaks and the newline character, but not. Webwigo recognizes regular line breaks and the newline character, but not.Groundspeak's emulator recognizes regular line breaks (char(13), which is equivalent to either \n or \r), the newline character, and an uppercase, but not the lowercase. However, here's what I've been able to gather: A fast and clever open source hex editor for macOS.ĭownload the latest version from the releases page.I received a request from someone to help him with line breaks in his Wherigo\\kit cartridge. Hex Fiend does not limit you to in-place changes like some hex editors. Hex Fiend can handle as big a file as you’re able to create. It’s been tested on files as large as 118 GB. Hex Fiend does not keep your files in memory. You won’t dread launching or working with Hex Fiend even on low-RAM machines. Open a huge file, scroll around, copy and paste, all instantly. Find what you’re looking for with fast searching. Hex Fiend can show the differences between files, taking into account insertions or deletions. Simply open two files in Hex Fiend and then use the File > Compare menus. Hex Fiend knows not to waste time overwriting the parts of your files that haven’t changed, and never needs temporary disk space. Interpret data as integer or floating point, signed or unsigned, big or little endian. Embeddable! It’s really easy to incorporate Hex Fiend’s hex or data views into your app using the Hex Fiend framework.Visualize the structure of a file through scripting. Its permissive BSD-style license won’t burden you. I was using Hex Fiend to check up on a bug I've experienced for years and found HF to be particularly #affected. Hex Fiend is somewhat useful to simply demo the bug, but does not respond well compared to other apps and and crashes quickly This is an OS X bug that I've experienced on all my Macs since 10.5. Hit left shift up arrow and than press backspace/delete (in the position above the enter key) while you are still pressing the first two keys/in Hex Fiend. Something gets confused in the deletion behavior while the state is kind of unstable and it seems an control character gets left behind. Focus the left panel and repeat to, clearing that text away and it then crashing. This happens in lots of cocoa text input fields that are roughly supposed to be single-line vies of text a not multi-line ones. People who have a habit of using this key combo to clear buffers/fields have lots of strange unlucky things happen. For some reason I get 0x7F from Hex Fiend. I also got 0x7F in the earlier 10.5, 10.6 days of this bug. But most apps today actually give me 0x08 chars, like the Safari Smart Search Field: Trust me, they are right there, you just can't see them.Įasy to witness there with Google because Google receives the chracters as part of your query. You can't see these, now, but it will oddly display this empty input area like the entire "nothing" is selected. Pasting these bytes from the Safari text field into HF can also cause an instant crash.Īdds a cap of 512 for BytesPerColumn, in order to avoid having problems similar to issue #395 occur if someone attempts to set it to a very large number the cap is applied when setting the property of HFController in the framework, and also when getting a new value from the UI in HexFiend (in BaseDataDocument). I didn't run into a crash at the same value as that user, but it definitely triggered performance and memory issues, and crashes would happen eventually without any limit on what is entered there.Ī cap of 512 might be higher than necessary (especially since 256 doesn't even fit on my screen with 9pt text), and in my opinion the utility of dividing up blocks of bytes goes down pretty quickly as the number of bytes in a column goes up.

Diy minion outfit7/30/2023 Making your own costumes is technical business, you guys.) (I am suddenly aware of how many times I’ve already used the word “stuff” in this post. I then used it to help me push the “hair” through the bowl. I had a hard time getting the webbing to push through the bowl, so I went and grabbed a large paper clip and straightened it a bit. You could also use pipe cleaners or some other material to create the crazy hair. Push the spider web stuff through the holes. This step is optional, but if you’d like to keep the paint from scratching off the bowl more easily, you can apply some polyurethane. See, projects are FUN! (How are you doing so far?) You will feel cool and maybe like a bit of a badass while carrying out this step as well. If you drill on the bottom with the bowl upside down, it may crack. In other words, drill as shown below, from the inside of the bowl. I learned the hard way that this is easiest from the INSIDE OUT. When the paint is dry, drill holes through the bowl at random so you can pull the “hair” through. Like I totally know what I’m doing or something. I don’t know about you, but I feel kind of cool when I’m using spray paint. Scuff up the bowl with some sandpaper to help the paint adhere to it. Polyurethane (again – helpful but not necessary).Tuna cans or some other creative way to create eyes (you could cut down an oatmeal box). Two buttons per costume (I used large black ones).Purple marker to draw in eyes (or cut construction paper perhaps).Black mesh/see-through fabric (optional – this would cover the mouth). Tiny black mittens (omit if you’re not making the long, hanging arms).Purple fabric for the arms – we used something stretchy/comfortable (or skip this step and just have your kids wear purple long-sleeved shirts).Black fabric for the overalls (I used felt)… enough to wrap around your child’s body (you’ll also use a scrap for the “eye mask” part).Poster board for the body (you’ll probably need two pieces). How awesome is this Adult Gru Mask (see below) to complete your group’s look! Webroot antivirus scam7/30/2023 Check out our tips to prevent identity theft for more ways to keep your data safe.Īlthough this identity shield is great in general, it’s unfortunate that Webroot doesn’t have anything specific for banking websites, like Bitdefender does (read our Bitdefender review). This is a great boon to stay safe online, but it’s always a good idea to keep yourself protected, as well. It will block websites that steal your data, as well as protect you from websites that are compromised and are running malicious scripts. Webroot’s identity shield works in the background and is tied into its web and phishing protection. File shredders, such as Webroot’s, will overwrite that place in the memory, scrubbing the file completely from the computer. When you delete a file from your computer, the space it took up in your memory is left alone until it’s needed again. Instead of having to open the program, you can easily enable a setting that allows you to simply right-click on a file and erase it completely. Webroot puts a unique twist on its file shredder tool. Webroot’s disk cleaner functionality is also only available on this tier. This includes 25GB of backup storage for your devices on Webroot’s own cloud servers. In its most expensive tier, Webroot SecureAnywhere Internet Security Complete, you get cloud storage as well. It’s nice to see a firewall included, since many antiviruses don’t have one at all, such as Avira (read our Avira review). This includes real-time protection, a web shield and even a firewall. The “PC security” section of the application has all your basic antivirus features. Its sandbox mode is also a stellar addition to an antivirus. The included security features go above and beyond what most antiviruses offer, putting it ahead of its competitors. Strengths & Weaknessesįor such a small download - coming in at just 5MB - Webroot has a huge amount packed into its antivirus. If its speed and affordability appeal to you, its 14-day free trial is a great choice to try it out for yourself. However, its lack of lab testing and confusing customer support channels may prevent it from reaching the list again. In the past, Webroot has been on our list of the best antivirus software. Finally, we’ll give you our verdict: is it worth purchasing? We’ll give the program a hands-on test, look into all its features and even put its customer support to the test. In this Webroot antivirus review, we’ll go over the pros and cons of choosing this program in detail. On top of these issues, its security testing is worryingly sparse. There are plenty of places in the antivirus where a little bit of attention to detail would go a long way. However, we found it confusing to navigate, especially when it came to its customer support options. We’re especially fans of some of its unique features such as its sandbox mode. It’s one of the fastest antiviruses out there and its price is competitive. Webroot has been in the antivirus game for almost 15 years, and its experience shows.
